My passion is basketball.
I discovered my passion for basketball when I was in the 6th grade. I would hear about all of the females from the same city as me being able to attend wonderful colleges and having numerous scholarships all around the globe from playing basketball and being fantastic at it. I figured that if other girls like me were able to be skillful at playing basketball, then I can do it too and be able to attend wonderful colleges and earn scholarships. I also discovered my passion for basketball when I played basketball. It's an act of using teamwork to create a success which extremely wonderful.
Attending the Nike Basketball Camp will help me explore my passion because I will be able to experience new things in basketball that I might haven't be able to experience while in practice or in a basketball game. The Nike Basketball Camp can also help me explore my passion for basketball because I will be able to meet new people who have the same amount, or more love for basketball just like me . While meeting new people we might be able to teach each other new things that we haven't been able to learn yet.
Vartaysha is a student who has a dream of going to college. I have expressed the need of her to make sure she gets out into the community to show colleges that she is not afraid to take chances and be a change in her community. She is constantly looking for opportunities to volunteer.
Vartaysha loves the game of basketball and loves being a part of something bigger than herself. She is a team player who is always willing to help others, advocate for others, and takes initiative when it comes to helping others around her. Not only will Vartaysha benefit from participating in the Nike Camp but others around her will as well because of her infectious personality and willingness to meet new people.
