Alexis's Story

My passion is acting.
I discovered my acting through my theater class, when my teacher assigned the class the same script, and we were required to transform it into an original story. The week before the assignment was due, I constantly reread my script to learn and memorize all of the lines. I also spent a lot of time looking into details about my character, and how she'd react to the situations. The day of the performance was amazing. When my partner and I went up on stage, I loved every second of it. I loved the audience reactions and portraying the characters. Ever since that day, my love for acting has grown to become a passion, and inspired me to taking on acting as a career.

Attending US performing Arts Musical Theater Conservatory will allow me to work with other teens my age who have the same passion as me. Not only will it allow me to build friendships but I will be able to work on my main passion and work on my singing, dancing, and story writing so I am able to advance in those areas in the performing arts.
