Ahiti's Story

My passion is basketball.

Since I was little I liked sports. The sport that always caught my attention was basketball. At first, I thought it was just simply trying to get a ball into the hoop but later I found out it was more than that. I would watch older kids play and see how they enjoyed the game. I liked the teamwork and the way the plays were designed to score on the opponent. Thanks to basketball, I have made friends which I can consider family.

Attending US Sports Nike Basketball Camps will help me pursue my basketball passion by providing new insights to the game of basketball. I will be able to improve my skills and my mentality. I will be learning from coaches with experience and will make my overall game better.

Ahiti would be a great candidate for the US Sports Nike Basketball Camps because of his dedication to getting better, and his understanding of how basketball can transform lives on and off the court. Ahiti not only wants to attend the camp to learn skills for himself, but also to help his community. Ahiti wants to be able to teach the youth in his community the skills he learned at the camp to help the youth live a positive lifestyle. Accepting Ahiti into a camp is in essence accepting the hundreds of other kids in Boyle Heights that he will eventually teach the skills he learned to.

After Nike Basketball Camp

Thank you to all my donors. I had a wonderful time at the Nike Basketball Camp. It was a nice experience to be away from home and to be able to improve my basketball skills. I met a lot of new friends from all over the world. I am glad I decided to go to the camp and I am thankful for the opportunity I received.

US Sports Nike Basketball Camp

I am super excited to be attending the Nike Basketball camp this summer. I feel that attending this program will help me improve my game in many ways. I am ready to take on the challenge of this camp to improve myself and be a better teammate when we get back to season. I think that going to with camp is a fun way to spend my summer while still grinding in the sport I love. With the help of this camp, I will not only be a better ball player, but a better person on and off the court.
