Emmalie's Story

My passion is photography.

I've always enjoyed photography, but as I grew up I really got into taking pictures of things I found aesthetically pleasing to me. I'd really like to become a photographer, and I sometimes borrow my mom's camera to capture anything I think is pretty or interesting. I'll literally photograph anything; whether it be a sunrise, sunset or the snow when it's freshly fallen, I'm really proud of the work I do with a camera. I'd like to get better with my pictures and get a professional opinion about the work I do.

A Note from Ms. Clancy, Emmalie's Teacher

Emmalie is very creative and strives to express herself in many ways. She is always trying to bring in outside media to make connections to what we are learning in class. Her main passion is photography and even though she does not have a high tech camera she does not let that stop her. She tries to capture moments that bring her joy or seem interesting. Fortunately, we have some pretty amazing views and sunrises here at school. She has captured some beautiful pictures of those moments. I know that with better resources Emmalie could explore and finesse her passion even more.

Pre-Attendance Update!!

I'm super excited for July 9th so I can finally start my summer program! I'd like to thank all of my donors for helping me raise the money needed to attend this program. I wouldn't be able to do this without you! But because I haven't attended my program, I don't have a lot to update you on. I'll be sure to update you during and after I'm back!
