My passion is completing goals.
I became passionate about completing my goals when I got held back in 5th grade. From then on, i swore to myself getting held back wasn't an option!I worked myself to the max!I did ALL of my homework which led to scoring high on test which led to scoring high on bigger exams, such as interm assessments, which overall led me to high grades and redeeming my once cracked reputation. Every crack can be fixed is something I firmly believe. I took that second chance and made it into a new beginning and a new chapter of my long book of life and I've never been retained again.
By attending this program I'll be exposed to new and different things that will open my mind to new foods and by this knowledge being open to me about food and cooking, it'll trigger endless roads for me to travel. Such as traveling the world to learn more about food and cooking through other cultures. Leaving my parents house and being confident in cooking onions with a knife as sharp as a sword. Teaching others about cooking and possibly building a career around it. Most importantly completing my goals that'll go off as soon as I set my foot in the cooking program. This is only a opening for more goals to be set and completed.
In a few short months in high school, Mustafa became actively involved with the GSA club on campus and a peer tutor in history. Mustafa currently has a 99% in my class- the only person to hold such high marks, and that is because of determination and grit. He regularly completes homework in advance of the deadline and reaches out promptly with clarifying questions even after the school day has ended. Mustafa has shown great tenacity in the face of significant financial challenges at home and I firmly believe that opportunity such as the one he selected will help him to transcend his environment.
