My passion is football.
I discovered my talent in football when I was five. I always wanted to be the person everyone else wanted to be. I want to be that person who wins the Heisman, and I want to make it to the NFL. I want to create my own legacy and go to the Hall of Fame to make my family proud. They always encourage me by being at my games and supporting me. Football is one of my motivations to go to college.
Attending Nike Football Camp will help me explore my passion. I want to work hard and it will help me to communicate with others and meet new people. This camp will also expand my stamina and energy because football is four quarters, which is very long. I will be trained by the best coaches who will challenge us with many obstacles that they want to see us get through with hard work.
Ricky is beyond passionate about football. This young man is the first to arrive at practices. He also leaves school and travels on his own by public transportation. Ricky is a self-motivated, responsible young man. It takes tremendous character for a 9th grader to leave his peers behind, in order to attend rigorous football practices. During the football season Ricky also maintains an 85 average in his academics. His dedication is remarkable as evidenced by how diligently he studies the playbook, never missing practice, and being an overall positive team player. Ricky will be an asset to any program, especially one that will advance his football skills.
Ricky does not take his natural abilities for granted, he pushes himself beyond set expectations and competes only with himself. Yet in order for him to reach his maximum potential he needs to be challenged by other good players. This young man will not waste this precious opportunity afforded to him.
