My passion is cooking.
My mother is always making me cook, and I love food a lot - I mean, who doesn't! I learned that I liked to cook so why not be a professional at it? Spending five weeks learning science of cooking at Sur La Table, who would not want to experience something like that! This program grabbed my attention because of the passion that I have for learning how to cook. I can learn how to make different food and show off my cooking skills to my family.
"Gisselle is an excellent candidate for this program. She is an extremely creative, artistic person who is very interested in culinary arts and already works part-time in the field. This camp will offer her the ability to gain technical skills in pastry, an area with which she already has some familiarity. I think it will benefit her immensely to be in an environment in which she is not working but learning new techniques and skills for her own sake. In addition to allowing Gisselle to gain more knowledge in the culinary field, the camp will also open her up to a new city and new people."
