Alan's Story

My passion is game design. Ever since I was younger, I've always been interested in games and how they work. As a 12 year old, I made several attempts to make a simple game and improve from there, but I was too inexperienced and too busy. Nonetheless, I've always wanted to make a game and have people play my game and be able to have fun and think the game is fun to play. Ever since I started playing games, and even up until now, I always wonder to myself how these games I play are made. I dream of getting to a high level of game design.

iD Tech Camps New York will allow me to invest my time into pursuing my dream of designing games. I usually relied on Youtube tutorials, but that was inefficient, so learning directly at an internship with other people will allow me to truly strengthen and improve my ability to design games. I need to receive more help in order to get closer to pursuing my dream, and I personally think iD Tech Camps has the ability to make that possible for me.
