Before attending the Criminal Justice program, I was scared because I didn't know if this is the career I want to do later in the future, but after attending everything has changed. The reason for this was because of my wonderful instructors. They showed and taught me what it takes to become a detective. Not only were they great at teaching, they wanted us to get the real experience from people who are still in the force. For example, our teacher were able to get us inside the police academy, courthouse, forensic investigation center, and federal building. Each of these visits helped me realize what I had to do in order for me become detective later on in the future. But, I really want to thank my teachers because without them I would not know what it takes to become a detective. Thank you to the people who helped me get into program, thank you to my amazing teachers, but overall thank you Wishbone for giving me this opportunity!

This summer I will be attending the Saint Rose Pre-College Summer Experience: Criminal Justice and Forensics. My love for solving crimes all started in middle school, and eventually Criminal Justice become a passion. My intention in Criminal Justice isn’t because of the badge or getting to carry gun around with me. No, I want to be a detective because I want to be able to help those family who are suffering from being involved in crime. I’m hoping that the Saint Rose Pre-College Summer Experience will allow me to get closer to my dream of helping those in need. I’m looking forward to learning from experts who are in the Criminal Justice field. Saint Rose Pre-College Summer Experience is a program that I am looking forward to this summer and I hope that I can achieve many things from it.
