Attending Envision NYLF Medicine will strengthen my passion and determination to work in the medical field. By exposing me to what a typical day as a medical student would be like, and getting engaged in the hands-on curriculum, I will walk away with a plethora of knowledge. Becoming aware of the challenges college students face when pursuing medicine will help me prepare for the future. I would be truly honored to participate in this program; both because of the knowledge it will bring, but also for the chance to learn on a college campus and be surrounded by like minded students from other parts of the country.
Janaya has always expressed interest in being a doctor and is always full of questions for my friends who were Yale undergraduates on the premed track. This experience with Envision NYLF will give her the opportunity to see what life is like as a medical student and I know that it will only make her fall in love with medicine in a tangible way. She also benefits from hands-on learning, since it helps her to better understand concepts, so I know this will helpful in building her confidence in a learning environment. Janaya is self-driven and eager to learn. I believe that she will take full advantage of this opportunity. Janaya will bring a joyful, curious and focused presence to the program, and I believe that she will have a positive impact on everyone she meets while gaining a lot from the experience.
Hello everyone!
Thanks to you all, my experience at this program was unforgettable. I have learned so much. One of the things that stuck with me are the ethics in medicine. I also made many new friends who shared the same interests as me, and got the college experience. This year I will be going into my senior year, and this program has motivated me to give my last year my all. I now know my full potential.
I am thrilled to be participating at Envisions NYLF Medicine. The hands-on medical experience will be something new and hopefully a fun challenge. As an aspiring neonatologist, this is exactly what I need to ensure that my passion is the right one. I look forward to encountering other like-minded people my age to learn from and share this experience with. I hope that this program will not only enhance my knowledge about the challenges of the medical field, but also help me progress as a student, and young adult.
