My passion is Engineering.
Ever since I was a little kid I would break toys cause I thought that I could fix anything, but I was sadly mistaking. One thing I loved breaking the most was electrical cars because it was cool to see how many wires it took to make it. I then wanted to learn how to fix and reroute wires.
By attending this program I know that I could finally get the chance to explore the major that I want to go into. It will let me know how hard it is to get electrical products to work and how much time it takes.
Corey was involved in a PCW Engineering Class in high school, he mentioned that he really enjoyed it. Corey has reached out to family friends who work in engineering, in attempt to learn more about it. He mentioned meeting with a family friend to learn a little bit about electrical wiring in old vs. new homes. Corey has been looking for opportunities to learn more, wishbone seems like just the opportunity that he could benefit from.
Corey is an awesome young man, who has continued to mature and display a positive, respectful, and energetic personality over the years. He has not received many opportunities to learn about this field, but he is applying to college for this major, and would like to learn as much as possible. Corey is a student who will be engaged and involved in his learning. He enjoys hands on assignments and works well with others. I believe that Corey would learn a great deal from attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Engineering & Technology. I'm sure that he will be able to engage with the staff, and possibly meet peers who he can learn and share with.
I want to thank the people who helped me get this far. Engineering is something I've wanted to study for a while now. I hope that this upcoming week will help me decide if I really want to major in engineering. If so, I hope that this program will bring me one step closer to becoming a great engineering.
