My passion is medicine. When I was younger, I wanted to be a police officer, but my mom told me that I should become a doctor. At first, I really didn't take it into account, but that changed once I learned that being a doctor meant I could bring hope to people and their loved ones. I'm a type of person who really can't say no to those who are in need, even if it means getting in trouble for doing so, as I am someone who pushes myself to the best of my abilities when it's necessary.
Attending Adelphi-Winthrop Summer Science Institute will help me pursue my passion for medicine by giving me a greater understanding of the field of medicine, which would allow me to cure diseases like H.I.V, AIDS, and any other diseases that don't have a cure yet. It will also give me the ability to change people's lives by increasing the human lifespan even further or help change our view of what the human body is really capable of.
Mustapha has been working on soft skills such as building work ethic and advocating for himself to ensure he has the skills to sustain his challenges. I think Mustapha will benefit from the Adelphi-Winthrop Summer Science Institute because he will be exposed to different aspects of a career he is interested in. This experience will allow him to navigate his efforts and push his thinking.
My experience at Adelphi was great since I was able to learn how to perform CPR on someone. And, how to stop someone bleeding it has given me a life-changing experience of what it truly means to help someone in need once again I would like to thank everyone who donated to help me go to Adelphi it was a life-changing experience that I will never forget.
Thank you again for giving me the opportunity to be able to expand my knowledge to expand the human lifespan and also cure incurable diseases such as AIDS and many forms of cancers. By allowing me to speak with experts who are very skilled in the medical field, I am able to learn and develop.
