My passions are law and CSI.
I discovered my passion for law many years ago as a child. I would find it very intriguing to watch people go to court and argue about whether a person is guilty or not. More recently, my passion and interest for it has grown, but for other reasons. I often come across news articles about certain people going to prison for unjust reasons. I think there are many flaws in the law and although I am just one person seeking change, I think I can still help those who've been wronged.
I have observed Xina's participation in our school's mock trial club, which is held after school once weekly. She shows great focus and often brings her readings around school with her and into the study hall I run. Xina tells me that she enjoys learning about legal and moral dilemmas and wants to learn about them more in her coursework.
Thanks to your donations, I am going to be participating in a CSI related program this summer. I am really excited to be joining the program because it will give me the experience I believe I will need in the future. I feel that in school, there aren't many opportunities to get involved in things like this program, I see this as a chance to gain more knowledge and experience.
I am looking forward to attending my program this summer and I am ultimately excited to get a sneak peak at what it's like in the field of criminology and sciences. I chose this program because I have always taken great interest in the american government and our justice system. I believe that participating in this program will help me decide on whether or not I want to actually major in criminology and law when I've gone to college. Thank you again for sharing this opportunity with me as I continue to pursue my interest and passion.
Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. An investment in knowledge pays the best interest. Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learned in school. Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today. I support you because I believe in you now it's time to believe in yourself.
