My passion is business.
I discovered my passion for business during the program "Invest in the Girl". This program helps young women like myself learn about stocks and how to save money. This is essential because I need to learn this if I want to be an entrepreneur.
Attending Envision NYLF Business Innovation–8 Days to Startup will help me pursue my passion for business because I will get first hand experience on how business classes work. It will improve my math skills and hopefully make me become more social around people since in business you have to present in front of colleagues. It will also help me decide the colleges that I would like to attend based on my major. Overall, I want to experience a college environment and see if the business major is really for me.
Stephany has always been a go-getter. When she is passionate about something, she knows how to access her resources, ask questions, advocate for herself and get what she wants. She has participated in almost every opportunity she has been offered; never saying no or I am too busy. She works tirelessly to make connections with people from all agencies and always leaves a great impression.
Stephany will benefit from Envision NYLF Business Innovation–8 Days to Startup in a myriad of ways. She will gain insight on what it will be like to study business in college and what it will be like to go away to college. She is also excited to meet other like minded students, make connections and begin her journey to business.
Stephany is a beautiful person and I am very happy to help her reach her goal. She deserves it!
