My passion is chemistry.
My passion for chemistry began in 8th grade. At first, I didn't believe I'd like the course, but when using chemicals to create hot/cold packs or make a substance blue immediately increased my passion for chemistry.
Attending UConn Pre-College Summer: Electrical Engineering with Chemistry will help explore my passion because maybe it will help me understand more complex ways of science. Also, exploring more about different sciences can change what type of science I want to study in college. This will benefit me because I can go back to school with knowledge of how the science of things creates the modern world.
"I believe that Tiana has a great personality and wants to do well at school. Her passion is writing, and she enjoys being part of the school community. She is a member of the cheerleading team at our school and is an avid writer.
I believe attending UConn Pre-College Summer: Electrical Engineering with Chemistry will allow her to gain a pre-college experience. This will be an opportunity she will enjoy and emerge from as a successful learner."
I am glad to say that I had the best experience at the University of Connecticut! It was more fun than I ever expected. The RA's made it feel like I was an actual college student, attending classes on my own, attending breakfast, lunch and dinner on my own, being able to do things around the campus like going to the gym, taking military training, and being able to attend workshops that educate you more about the college process, and challenging certain things that you would've never imagined you could challenge. The professors for my classes took the time to make sure that I understood my classwork/homework, and was able to show me machines that the college students who took certain majors were given access to. I thank all of my supporters for the best experience of my life. I have never been so happy and excited about life as I am now. Thank you!
I extremely excited for today's road trip to the University of Connecticut to start my program. Thanks to all of my supporters, such as my family and teachers, I'm taking on this course with such excitement!
Once again, thank you all for this wonderful opportunity. Not everyone gets opportunities like this. I will definitely cherish this opportunity forever.
Thank you for helping me reach my goal! I wanted to emphasize how much everyone's support means to me, I'm extremely excited for this program this summer. Once again thank you so much for your support.

While forensics science is your field of choice engineering and chemistry will get you closer to your goal. Pretty soon you will be solving many mysteries through the art of science., love you mom/gmom.
We have a lot of confidence that Tiana will do well in this program. She is smart, motivated, self directed and willing to learn new things. We know that she will succeed and will make us proud of her.
