My passion is helping others.
Helping others became my passion as I grew up. I have always been a compassionate person when it comes to seeing people who don't have any friends; I go over and make sure they're okay and try to be their friend. At a young age, I learned that no matter how small my actions seem, they're important if they have a positive impact on someone.
Attending National Youth Leadership Forum on Business Innovation will help me develop my passion because my goal is to lead a business that will benefit others. I also want to develop my speaking skills so that I can better communicate with people. This will allow me to explain why helping others is something that people should try and do.
"Melanie is an excellent candidate for your program because she will benefit greatly from the experience. Without your help she would not be able to pursue one of her dreams. I believe she will use this experience to help her figure out what she might want to study in college. She comes from a modest background and does not have the means to attend the program on her own. Your program will give her the opportunity to attend."
I had a great summer in Berkeley at Envision - Business and Innovation camp. I learned a lot about how to solve business problems and expanded my knowledge about what it is to lead your own business. I also learned a great deal about leadership and how that's important when it comes to having a successful business. I did a lot at this program like go sight seeing and coming up with my own business as well as listening to powerful CEOs speak about how they were able to make their business a success. It was a wonderful experience and I was able to form great friendships from people all over the world. It means a lot to me that you helped make this possible for me and I will greatly treasure it.
Wishbone is a great way to attend a summer program. I chose to go the business route via a summer program at Berkeley for business innovation. I chose this program because it is held at the school I wish to attend and because it has to do with business, which is what I want to study when I go to college. The business innovation program will help me develop my business management skills by putting me in business simulations and putting me face to face with CEOs of businesses. I am looking forward to solving business issues that I might face in the field as well as having an insight into what I might be doing for my career. I've participated in other business programs at school, like the student consultancy program, and it really interested me. My wish for this program is to expand on my knowledge of the career I wish to pursue.
Congratulations! best wishes
