My passion is independence.
My passion for independence is rooted in my mom, grandmother, and my middle school experience. I show my appreciation and independence by being someone my siblings can lean on and by helping my mom and making things easier for her. In order to help others you have to help yourself first, which is how I would say I've mastered independence. Also, my middle school experience has taken a big part in my independence because I noticed that the true key to being yourself is being independent and not caring that you are set apart from others since everyone has a different perception of life and different ways they carry themselves.
By attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Business Innovation I will be able to explore my passion for independence. An independent person is innovative. I say that because by being able to create my own startup business requires the skill to create the foundation that people can build upon. This program will also help me explore my goal of becoming an entrepreneur, which lines up directly with my qualities as a person and passion. Being an entrepreneur consists of maintaining organization, responsibility, and professional skills. In order for my businesses to be successful, I have to hold a positive attitude and have to have professionalism and morality as an individual.
Cherease is an excellent candidate for National Youth Leadership Forum on Business Innovation because she has all the raw materials needed to become a rising business star, but she needs a program that will teach her the skills and secrets necessary to ensure success. She has dreams as most students her age do, but the difference that I see in Cherease is that she puts action behind those dreams. She takes her education very seriously and prioritizes it ahead of the distractions that many of her peers fall into.
I would absolutely love to see Cherease get this opportunity because her character and her work ethic and passion are deserving of the chance to grow in this area. She is a gem and this program can polish her! She will take this program incredibly seriously and will absorb all that there is to be learned. Truly, she will shine each day.
Cherease, you represent the very best of what Uncommon is all about... and always have. Good luck with this outstanding venture!
Good luck!!!!
