Melik's Story

My passion is music production and singing.

Music has been my passion from the time I was a toddler. Over the years, I have grown to love it even more. I currently play drums, piano, and am now learning to play the guitar. I wouldn't have grown as much, musically, if it was not for the opportunity I was given to play at church. I am confident that my unique set of abilities will be enhanced even further by attending Digital Media Academy

I believe attending Digital Media Academy will develop my passion and will help me to get more acquainted with the music world. In the future, I would like to be self-reliant, which entails writing my own songs, recording and producing my own music. Being a part of this program will also increase my network of people who have similar goals, drive and aspirations, which essentially will allow me to excel to new dimensions in the music field.

Excited for Digital Media Academy

The program I will be attending is the Digital Media Academy at NYU. During this program, I will be learning how to operate the music software logic x pro. I love to play around with beat and be very creative with what I think is right. That's what I really like about music production. You can never be wrong or judged about something you're creating. What I'm looking forward to the most is collaborating with other brilliant minds with different music interest to expand my vocabulary and my network.
