My passion for football is derived from a desire to become more than what people think I am, on and off the field. Growing up I have always played football, and I am excited to learn from some of the best in the sport this summer at US Sports Contact Football Camp. Football has always been a way for me to express emotions in a positive and productive way. Through this sport I have become stronger, faster and more fit for life’s challenges including those on the football field. I have seen my discipline as a person and a student grow as a result of my involvement in football. I have learned that hard work yields gains and want to grow in the sport, but also use these rewards for life.
Xavier is a conscientious student and is always eager to learn. He pursues every opportunity for extra credit or extra learning assignments in school. He is passionate about football and is eager to acquire more knowledge. This summer at US Sports Contact Football Camp will benefit him by allowing him to develop the skills necessary to pursue his passions in the long term. He has explored his interest in sports by playing with an outside football league and playing against students from across the country. In addition, he has assisted with his football team, setting up for practice, helping teammates memorize and execute plays, and has led football practice activities.
