Fatima's Story

My passion is being a leader.

I discovered that I like being a leader when I started my own dance club. Back in middle school I always wanted to be a leader, but my shyness prevented me from becoming one. Now, in my transition to high school, I overcame my fear and stepped out of my comfort zone and started to make my dream come true. When I heard that we could make our own clubs in school I was determined that by making a club I would become a leader.

Attending the National Teen Leadership Program, will help me become a much better leader and learn from others that are already leaders.

"Fatima stands out already as a 9th grader by seeking this opportunity. This is rare for our 9th graders to do. She has also started a dance club at our school.

Fatima has strong leadership skills so it would beneficial for her to officially study and learn about leadership to become even stronger."

Thank you

Thanks to all of my donors I was able to attend National Teen Leadership Program. Attending this program has gave me more leadership skills and has helped me come out of my comfort zone. At first I was shy, but after a few hours and a nice welcoming gathering, I felt safe and like at home. Everyone was very kind and loving with me and other people. Thank you for making this opportunity possible.
