Omar's Story

My passion is soccer.

Coming from a Mexican background, soccer has naturally become one of my main passions since I was young. My oldest brother taught me how to play at the young age of 7 and I try my best to get better everyday. My brothers and I developed our own soccer team and are involved in local soccer tournaments. These tournaments have really helped me develop my technique and made me the team player that I am today. Playing soccer for my high school team has helped me realize the importance of academics, too. Having good grades is necessary in order to play for my school and this has motivated me to balance out those important values in my life.

Omar is in love with soccer and his commitment to our soccer team is strong. He is a good candidate for Red Bull New York Residential Soccer Camp because he will get to play with players above his skill level, learn techniques from new coaches, and push himself out of his comfort zone.

New York Red Bulls residential soccer camp update

This summer I will be attending the NY red bulls residential soccer camp. Attending this soccer camp is definitely what keeps me motivated to continue to improve my soccer techniques. I'm taking this golden opportunity to show what I'm capable of on the pitch and what I'm willing to do to get better. I'm looking forward to meeting new people who all share the same passion and love for soccer, I truely can't wait to step on the pitch this summer!
