My passion is sports management.
When I was in the 8th grade, I realized how unlikely it is for a person to make it to the professional league of basketball. The reason I chose sport management is because I would love to connect with people who have the same interests as myself. Sports Management is a great field to work in because I am a basketball player myself. So, I would able to push my clients towards being ready for the big league.
By attending Syracuse University Summer College, I hope to open my eyes to information that I did not have access to before. This program directly incorporates what I am looking for in regards to the type of college that I want to attend. This will put me closer to my dream career of being a sports manager.
"Donnel has a very strong interest in all fields related to sports. He is a vital member of our school's basketball team and is passionate about pursuing a career that keeps him involved in athletics. Donnel understands that playing basketball isn't the only way to reach his dreams of working alongside professional athletes. He has taken steps to explore other ways of achieving his goals."
After attending Syracuse University Summer College, I've learned a lot. It definitely opened my eyes a lot when it comes to the college life, and let me know what type of environment I would like to be in when I start college next year. Besides the work I had a lot of fun, and I really hope I get another chance to attend Syracuse before I officially becoming a college student at the school of my choice. This experience definitely was worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone getting ready to go to college.
I'm glad to attend the Sports Management program at Syracuse University during the summer this august. This is a great opportunity that I've gotten and I plan on utilizing every bit of it. This reason I chose this program is because I've been playing sports all my life , and I want to go deeper into what actually goes on in the business world of sports. Even though my course isn't a credited course, I still chose it because it's something I really want to do, so this August when I get to Syracuse I will try to open myself to new things that can put me in position to succeed when I graduate high school in 2016. Basically I would like to say, thank you for believing in me and my potential to be something great, and I will make sure I don't disappoint anyone.
