My passion is basketball.
I am passionate about basketball because I grew up in a family of people who love basketball. Growing up in Brooklyn, I’ve seen all these great basketball players, and one day I want people to say I’m the best basketball player that came out of Brooklyn. My father played college basketball and everyone else in my family played in high school. I’ve been surrounded by basketball my whole life. Everyone around me loves the game, and it was inevitable for me not to fall in love with the game.
Attending PGC basketball camp will allow me to develop my passion for basketball by putting me on the path to make it to the NBA. Attending this program will help me develop my basketball skills such as dribbling, shooting, and rebounding, which will allow me to become a better all-around player. Additionally, the coaches at this program will give me advice on things that I need to work on and things I’m doing well in order for me to take the next step in my basketball career. I’m excited to hear these perspectives in person and get better. I believe that PGC basketball camp is the perfect next step for me to turn my passion for basketball into a professional career.
Jordan has been interested in basketball since I first met him as a fifth grader. I have had the pleasure to see him play on his middle school teams and now in high school over the years. Though I am not a basketball coach, it's clear he has improved his game impressively over the years though hard work. He responds well to coaching, just as he does to teacher feedback on his academic work. He keeps a positive attitude and gives 100% effort in all situations. I have no doubt that with an intensive program, Jordan will improve a lot in a short period of time.
JORDAN! I just had to give you the final dollar to FULLY FUND your campaign! I am so proud of you and all the hard work you put into this application and everything else you do. You're going to have a great experience this summer and I can't wait to hear all about it next year!
