Ezequiel's Story

I discovered my passion for medicine at an early age. I'd like specialize in brain surgery when I grow up. Someday, I dream of doing clinical trials to find a cure for Alzheimer's. As I get older, I began becoming more passionate about medicine while watching hospital shows. Attending UConn Pre-College Summer Program will help make my passion grow and become more clear to me. Attending this program will allow me to experience what it is to be a medical student, as well as get a taste for college life.

Ezequiel is a great candidate for UConn Pre-College Summer Program because he likes to challenge himself by trying new things, taking harder classes and pushing himself. He has cultivated a love for learning. Things were never just handed to Ezequiel. He has worked very hard for all that he has achieved. His desire is evident from the moment you meet him. He wants to be a doctor, a brain surgeon. This may or may not come to pass, but not for the lack of effort or desire on his part.
