My passion is medicine.
Ever since I could remember, I have always been interested in medicine. When I was about three years old, I was given a doctor tool toy set. I would play with my mother and pretend to be her doctor. As I got older, I realized that medicine is the career path I want to take. There is so much more still to know about the human body.
NSLC Medicine and Healthcare will give me the experiences so I can see whether this is the right career for me. NSLC will also be a great experience for me because I will be better prepared for pre-med in college and eventually medical school. When I go to college or even a future job, I will have a better idea of the skills I need. I will understand things about my potential career more clearly because of everything I learn during NSLC Medicine.
Angela is a creative, hardworking and dedicated student. I have had the pleasure of knowing Angela for many years and I have seen her grow into a wonderful young lady. She is always willing to learn and grow and explore new options. As a child, she loved to learn about medicine and her passion to become a doctor is quite evident. She is always caring for others. Once, when I asked her what she wanted to be, her eyes lit up and she enthusiastically stated, "I want to become a doctor and help others." I know that being a part of Wishbone will help her achieve her dreams.
This summer I had the opportunity of attending National Student Leadership Conference. This program truly changed my life for the better. It not only allowed me to make new friends from all over the world, but also helped me learn more about what I want to be when I get older. We did many simulations in which we learned how to suture, how to treat patients and diagnose them, what a day in the operating room is like for neurosurgeons, and many more. I also learned more about being a leader. I am very grateful that I was able to attend this program. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you again to everyone who helped me to attend this program. I want to become a doctor and help save lives more than ever now.
This summer I am going to participate in National Student Leadership Conference on Medicine and Health Care. I chose this program because I want to learn more about health and what doctors do. I have wanted to be a doctor for as long as I can remember.
I would like to thank those who have made it possible for me to be a part of NSLC. I am very fortunate to have this opportunity and cannot wait to learn more from the people at this program. I am looking forward to learning more about what I want to do in the future and meeting people who have the same interest as me.
Love you Angela!! Wishing you all the success and happiness in your future. Your future is bright.
If Ruby Moreno recommended helping Angela, then all I hope for is that she can follow in her footsteps.
Good luck, Angela!
