Kezia's Story

My passion is basketball, which I discovered in 5th grade and realized I was a naturally talented player. Basketball has helped me improve my communication skills, essential on the court. The sport has also helped me learn the importance of teamwork. I can't win without the other girls on my team. I have become a better player and team leader as my skills have improved throughout middle and high school. My passion for the sport is thanks to others believing in me, which has inspired me to believe in myself. Attending Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp will help me build on my skills.

Kezia has a hunger to become a better player, leader and teammate. I believe she would benefit from the coaching and competition at Chelsea Piers Basketball Camp.
I've watched her improve so much as a player since the moment she stepped foot on the court at Uncommon Preparatory Charter High School. She's very dedicated to honing and improving her basketball skills and has been the leading scorer for the past two seasons. However, she is committed to expanding her game to become a better all around player.
