Jonathan's Story

My passion is basketball.

Basketball became my passion after years of experiencing it being played, watched, and talked about. I enjoyed it and wanted to keep getting better, or improving. Eventually, it evolved into my secondary focus, school being my first. I realized that without basketball, there was a sense of something missing. Even after breaking my arm, I attended practices and assisted the basketball coach and players. On my own time, I worked on my game with my good hand and kept on track for my recovery.

Attending Nike Basketball Camp will act as a catalyst, increasing the rate at which I improve in the sport. This camp will allow me to bring what I learn back to school and contribute to the school team. Additionally, it would help me to guide others around me and those younger than me with basketball. Lastly, it will place me in a strict and disciplined environment that is also fun.
