My passion is Culinary.
I discovered this passion because of my grandparents, especially my grandfather. He is always in the kitchen making something. When I was as little as the age of 5 I was always in the kitchen helping. I was either getting all the ingredients ready or just watching all the different skills my grandpa was using. Every since then I have had dreams of going to culinary school and than graduating and getting a job as a chef in a restaurant and then eventually owning many restaurants of my own some day.
Attending ICC Culinary Cooking Camp will make me a better chef because as of right now I am not that good of a cook and by going to this program I will start learning many of the basics. For example I will learn different knife cuts and when and how to use the right knife. I will also learn different cooking temperatures for different foods. I think I will learn more about whats flavors work together the best and these basic skills will make my a overall better cook in the kitchen
Tamia is a talented young lady who is open to trying new things. Participating in the ICC Culinary Cooking Camp will give her an opportunity to experience something new. She lives in a small town outside of New York City, and she would appreciate the opportunity to work explore the city while attending camp. Tamia will be graduating next year and she is still trying to figure out what she wants to study, maybe culinary is a her passion and this camp with give he the opportunity to explore and experience cooking with some of the best chefs in the world.
I really enjoyed myself at this camp, it taught me so many skills that i will never forget. Being in this program made it easier for me to find what I want to do when I grow up. Many of the recipes that we made during that week of camp I have already re-made at home because they were that good and so easy! My mom loved my cooking. I learned how to make steak and potatoes, baked fish, homemade pizza dough and pasta dough, and chocolate soufflé. The best part about the program was that we got a huge suitcase of everything you would need when you cook like knifes, pepper mill, etc. Also, we got a book of all the recipes we made and a few extra ones. This camp was one of the best experiences I ever had!
