When I was choosing programs for the summer, Trailblazers: Under One Sky stuck out to me because it embodied the role of leadership. I am most excited about getting the opportunity to lead, especially since I don't get the opportunity to do that at school as much. I also would love to do more hands on things in the environment. I am not able to take advantage of those opportunities in New York. I hope that I'll be able to embrace a leadership role while I'm there. But I'm nervous about being away from home and into a rural place. I'm not exactly used to that.
