My passion is aviation. I discovered my passion for aviation when I went to a museum and in one display it showed the evolution of aviation. For instance, I really liked this display of the Wright Brothers because, even though everyone thought they were going to fail, they did not give up. I found that inspiring. When I went to Washington DC, it was the first time I flew anywhere and I thought that it would be cool. When I got in the plane we saw the cockpit and the plane panel and the pilot even showed us how air traffic is important. At California Airway Aero Camp, I will fulfill my dream of learning to fly a plane.
Jonathan has a deep interest in aviation. He loves learning the history of aviation and asking questions about how different planes were developed. Jonathan seems to always perk up in class when anything relating to engineering comes up. He has family connections to the military that inspired him to learn more, specifically about WWII aviation. Jonathan is inquisitive and loves learning. I think he would benefit from the California Airway Aero Camp because he has all the tools to succeed, but needs to develop his own confidence as a student and future engineer.
