Oswaldo's Story

My passion is helping people.

I would like to enroll in Sur La Table Summer Cooking Series because I would use this as a way for me to learn how to make myself food when my mom is not around anymore. It's also good for a man to learn how to cook something good. This could be my hobby or one day allow me to open my own restaurant.

I come from the part of Redwood City that people call "hood," but I have goals and I'm not a bad kid. Attending Sur La Table Summer Cooking Series will give me the chance to develop my interest in cooking.

Thank you, donors.

Thank you for supporting my campaign to attend Sur La Table Summer Cooking Series. I really appreciate your donation. I went to San Francisco to take the classes for two weeks from 2pm to 4pm. On the first day we made cupcakes with banana. We ate it on the same day. Most of the food we made we ate on the same day, but there were days where we would have to wait until the next day because it needed more things. I learned how to make other desserts as well while I was there. Thank you so much. I would not have been able to do this without your donations.
