Juan's Story

I discovered my passion for soccer when I started playing more competitively in a travel team. When I started playing for my travel team I realized I wasn't getting as much playing time as I got when I played for parks and rec. I knew I was passionate about soccer because it hurt me to sit on the bench. After my first season with U11 travel, I started to practice in the summer as much as I could so I could become better and start next season. When next season came, I was also playing with my middle school. I had improved so much I became an important player in the middle school team my first year. The tingly feeling I got in my head from playing well made me hungry for the sport. I realized I couldn't live without the sport.

Attending US Sports Nike Soccer Camps will help me pursue my passion for soccer because I know how great the program is. I attended the program last year with the help of Wishbone. I could honestly say that I believe this program made me a smarter and better player. This program helped me realize what position I truly wanted to play and the type of player I was. I believe that even though I already went last year for a week, it wasn't enough. I want to attend US Sports Nike Soccer Camps again because I want to find out more about myself through soccer and I also believe this program will help me get to the level I really want to be at. My end goal with soccer is to play college soccer and I strongly believe this program will help me attain this dreams, especially with senior year coming up.
