My passion is singing.
I've always been into singing, but I developed a passion for it more during middle school and high school. I like the way I am able to express myself through singing. Attending the US Performing Arts Acting for the Camera will give me the opportunity to improve my skills while also meeting other teens my age that have a a similar passion.
Fatou is committed to all of her endeavors. She is in my Pre-Calculus Honors class with a grade of A and will take AP Calculus as a senior. While her passion is singing, she is a strong student who works hard at all that she does. This level of determination and responsibility is rare at an arts high school. We have plenty of talent at our school, but only a few have the drive to turn that talent into accomplishment. Fatou is one of those few.
Hello!
I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me with attending my summer program. It was a great experience. I'm very thankful to have the opportunity to meet other kids and work with Emmy winning directors. I learned so much about acting for the camera. We learned things about comedy, commercials, script reading, auditioning, and so much more. We even got a chance to shoot a few scenes and monologues. Not only was I able to learn and do important work, I was also able to enjoy myself with the other students. Again I would like to thank everyone who has helped me. I deeply appreciate it.
I am participating in the US performing arts acting for the camera. I feel that this program can help me grow in many ways such as communication, cooperation, and confidence that can apply to many situations. I would also like to improve more on my acting skills. As a young student I feel that it's important to explore other interests and take advantage of opportunities. It's also important to experience a little bit about college.
I am looking forward to having fun and meeting new people. I'm looking forward to a great week and a great summer.
