Sydni's Story

My passion is creating. I've always loved being able to produce and create things by hand, and love spending my free time pursuing photography and art. Attending iD Tech Camps can help me pursue my passion by teaching me the necessary skills to deepen my knowledge for these passions. I'm excited to spend my time on the NYU campus, and to be surrounded by like-minded students with similar interests as me.

A Note from Ms. Spaeth, Sydni's Teacher

Sydni is a go-getter, even as a freshman! She uses every moment of her time to succeed in a very rigorous school environment and does so while helping her peers, too. Our school days are very long--many students don't leave UCHS until 5:10PM! The opportunity to explore an extra-curricular is one that doesn't come along very often for students at this school, and when it does, many students feel too overwhelmed to grab it. Sydni's eagerness to participate in a program that will help her to gain college and career readiness should be rewarded!

Coming Back From Program

Coming back from the program I've learned many things about using a digital camera that i have never learned before. So when i get a camera i would know how to take certain pictures which is great!

Excited for my program!

I’m so excited to work with other people who share the same interest in photography as I do. Photography is one of my passions, and whenever I take pictures, it brightens up my spirit. I love photography because I am able to look back at pictures and remind myself of how beautiful everything is, and it gives me time to realize how beautiful the world we live in is. Because of this, I’m hoping this program will help me further my photography skills.
