My passion is art. Growing up, I would always help out my art teacher. She was very supportive of the creations I'd bring to her. During middle school, I became more passionate about the arts. I started watching more cartoons, sci-fi, and even old rubber hose animation. Then I realized that drawing was my true talent. It was always there. I just didn't see it at first. I started working harder and now I've become a stronger artist.
Syracuse Summer College 2D Studio Art will be good for me because it seems to have a very diverse group of students. I love meeting new people and visiting new areas. I think it can help me get out of my comfort zone. I also think it can teach me new skills, so that I can try new things and help expand on my own passion. Lastly, I think it can help me to become more independent and see a whole new world of opportunity.
Phoenix has a passion for learning and experimentation within the arts. She has completed multiple art courses at the high school level and is eager to learn more in this area. Phoenix is a very passionate person when it comes to creativity and the exploration of the arts. I have known Phoenix since she was in Kindergarten, and she often used art as her outlet. Over the last few years, she began her own artistic endeavors by drawing daily in a sketchbook, creating whimsical characters and brightly covered pages full of imagination. She will greatly benefit from Syracuse Summer College 2D Studio Art.

SO yesterday I went to Niagara falls on a field trip. And let's just say I got totally soaked. Hope you like the picture I took.
