Nasir's Story

My passion is basketball.

I will develop this passion by working my hardest when I get to Nike Basketball Camp. Even if I have to run 100 laps, do 100 push ups, run 100 suicides, or have to make 100 jump shots in a row, I will not stop. I will learn to be determined in order to reach my goal: get into the NBA. To tell you the truth, I don't care about statistics like, "1 in 7,500 kids will make it to the NBA." I believe that I can and will be that one kid.

I want to be apart of the Wishbone community because I knew that this program will help me become the person I want to be. Thinking about Nike Basketball Camp made me feel inspired and gave me more hope than I've had in my entire life. I will set a example of being hardworking and never giving up to others.
