I discovered my passion for Medicine at a young age. I knew medicine was a possible career for me before, but witnessing how doctors had the abilities to heal someone solidified my interest. Watching doctors rush from the ER to patient rooms showed me the passion required to pursue a career in medicine, a passion I knew I had. As I watched how doctors were able to help sick and injured people, I knew I wanted to do the same. Medicine surrounds me every single day, and I simply can't see myself doing anything else.
I expect that Maha's passion for medicine will be strengthened. With the ability to be part of the experience and learn from and with others that share her interests, she will continue to grow as a future medical professional. What she has learned in high school will be challenged and strengthened as relevant, hands on learning helps her internalize what good practices look like.
