Jazzmyne's Story

My passion is Music.

From a young age I was exposed to all types of music. I remember dancing around in my room with my grandmother almost every day. Music became something that I enjoyed a lot and has helped me turn to lyrics for my own music. School of Rock New York will help me further my understanding of music and help me gain the confidence I need to present my own music. School of Rock New York will also allow me to experience live music. It will help me reach my ultimate goal in life which is to be a professional in the field. This is a great opportunity to further explore my passion and become a role model for others!

A Note from Mr. Shambley, Jazzmyne's Teacher

Jazzmyne is one of a few students that I have this year who knows how to utilize every resource around her. She also knows that she has teachers that are willing to support her in any endeavor and she does not hesitate to reach out to us, her academic supporters. I know that if given the full opportunity to pursue any passion, she would maximize on her potential.

First Day

Today was a good day. I didn't know the thrill and exhilaration of doing something new and actually loving it. I'm excited to go back for the next 4 days and really power through these classes.

Pre-attendance

I am really excited to attend my program. I can't wait to expand my knowledge on live performance to make adjustments to my own live performances. I hope my experience is extraordinary and I hope I get to meet people who will like me for me! Cant wait for School of Rock summer of 2k17!!
