My passion is Engineering.
I discovered my passion through a computer game called Space Engineers. Although limited, the game allowed me to put things together, test it, and through trial and error, I was able to fine tune it into something that worked. In real life, I have began getting to know more about the field of engineering through programs such as Code Next, which I attend weekly.
By attending iD Tech Camp, I'll be able to gain more experience and exposure to engineering and technology. I have always loved making new things, and feel that with proper training, I'll be able to turn my passion into a career.
Johnnie demonstrates his passion for technology and helping people on an almost daily basis. His easy going nature allows him access to adults and then their devices, whether phones or laptops. In doing so he will show them, including myself, various tricks he has learned, shortcuts he feels may make us more efficient, and any other technology things he thinks may be cool. When asked how he knows this stuff, he just shrugs and says, "I don't know, from watching Youtube videos, I guess.". This is the demonstrated passion that I hope my students will possess when they say they are interested a subject. If they already show interest and do their own independent research, it's more believable. For these reasons, I believe Johnnie would greatly benefit from attending iD Tech Camps.
I attended iD Tech Camps for 1 week, from June 18th to June 22nd. It was a really good program. I attended the Robotics engineering and coding lab with VEX lab and I really liked it. On the first two days we spent that time building the robot. it was a class of 5 with 2 groups. one of two and the other of three, I was in the one of three. When we were getting the parts ready, I made sure that the the screws I put on were really tight and secure. When we got to the robot battle, all the parts except mine all broke down. We spent alot of time fixing it back up. I liked it. It was really good. Thank you for donating. I would like to get some pictures for you to see but they are not in the right format and don't appear correctly.
I have only been here for one night and there hasn’t been any instruction yet but so far it’s really good. I like it.
Be safe and have fun

I wanted to help because I'm able and Johnnie's future is so worth it.
Good luck Johnnie with your fundraiser!
