A Note from Ms. Albanese, Essence's Counselor

Essence could offer so much to Wishbone and the LIM College Summer Fashion Lab. She is a remarkably dedicated scholar. Despite obstacles, Essence has persisted in pursuing her education and holding herself to high standards. She is a positive role model for her peers and gives sage advice to her friends; she would undoubtedly bring a sense of maturity and responsibility to the program. As a young lady interested in exploring the world of fashion, Essence will be given an opportunity that she wouldn't otherwise have offered to her. By participating in the LIM College Summer Fashion Lab, not only will Essence be exposed to a new industry, one that she is considering pursuing as a career, but she will also be offered an invaluable experience to study her art form of choice: fashion. Participating in the LIM College Summer Fashion Lab will provide Essence with a creative outlet and process for artistic self-expression - and area which Essence both craves and excels.
