My passion is leadership development.
I first discovered my passion for leadership development at a young age. During my years in middle school, I discovered and had been told that I was a natural born leader. I had then started to apply myself in the leadership role in the classroom, on the basketball court, and everywhere I went. This experience sparked my passion for being a leader and learning how to be a more effective leader. On my path to being a leader, I was able to pick up on the impact a leader has on the people around them. As a leader, I take pride in the ability to facilitate and observe the success of my peers. Being a leader is all about making everyone around you better.
Leonard is a hard working, A/B student. This year, he is taking AP Biology as a 10th grade student. Also, last summer he applied to a summer research program for UMI. It was an extensive application process and he completed it. He is passionate about leadership and is captain of his basketball team. Leonard tries to take advantage of any opportunities he learns about.
Leonard is a great candidate for the YMCA Camp Jewell Leaders-in-Training. He is a hard working student whether it is in the classroom or on the basketball court. He is a role model for academics and behaviors in our school.
This camp was really am amazing experience for me. Not only did I make new friends and memories that last a lifetime, but i was also able to learn a lot of important life lessons that helped me become a better leader. This session of camp went far beyond my expectations and I am grateful for the opportunity. I also want to say thank you to all who donated and made it possible because without them, I would not have been able to attend.
Very good personal statement. You are very close to your goal. Good Luck.
I'm hoping to help you reach your full potential. Please take advantage of this and every opportunity that comes your way.
