My passion is basketball.
I discovered my passion for basketball when I was about eight years old watching NBA on TV. I watched as the players passed and dribbled the ball with skill to score a point. I found this athletic event very amusing and wanted to try it out. I started to play basketball at the park, and train to become a more skilled player. Being a part of this program, I feel that I finally have a better chance of becoming a better person and better leader.
Attending Point Guard College will help pursue my passion for basketball by showing me a new understanding for it. It will also increase my variety of skills to make me a competitive player. I feel that I'm going to become a better player and have the ability to lead my team to a victory. Also, it may build my character as a young African American person to take action in something that I love, so that I may one day make a living off of something that I love deeply.
Jermain is a very athletic young man with a deep passion for the game of basketball. He's very energetic and always looking for ways to improve his skills in the sport. He constantly picks my brain for different drills he can perform to become a better basketball player. He is a very focused, driven and passionate young man. I believe the PGC Essentials Camp will help to maximize his basketball potential, and it would be anyone's pleasure to have the opportunity to coach this young man.
