My passions is biological engineering. If there are two things that I love in the world then it would be biology and engineering. I had always had a passion for biology because I want to help people. When I was younger, when people asked what I wanted to be, I always said I wanted to be the scientist that cured cancer. My passion for engineering grew from my clumsiness as I was always breaking something. I soon grew tired of breaking things and I started to put back together the things that I broke, and I loved it. I loved finding out how something worked and taking it apart and putting it back together. Biological Engineering combines my two of passions.
Christelle has stood out as one of the strongest and most inquisitive students that I have encountered in my four total years of teaching. She is hardworking and exceptionally pleasant. Christelle never misses a task or an assignment, and she goes very far above the minimum required. In class discussion and writing, she always exhibits critical thinking and synthesis. She asks college-level questions and gives college-level answers. In asking her questions and giving her answers, she exudes a unique combination of joy, confidence, and humility, which is rare for 10th graders. I believe her time on a college campus and exposure to professional academics through Boston University Summer Challenge will further inspire her to become a scientist and scholar. In such a setting as Boston University Summer Challenge, I am confident Christelle would jump right in with her joy, humor, and curiosity and bring back a deepened passion for her final two years of high school.
I believe in Mr. Fitzgibbons...and Christelle!

GO CHRISTELLE!
I want to support her and avoid the wrath of "The Terry". He knows and sees all.
