Great for students ages 15 – 17, the Marine Mammal Center Youth Volunteer Program gives students a first row seat to the challenges facing marine mammal conservancy. Volunteers will work with supervisors to provide daily care for the marine life patients in the animal hospital. Read More

Camp Chrysalis combines environmental education with personal learning and growth to create a unique adventure in the great outdoors. Students will spend seven days learning basic backcountry skills, such as navigation and survival, as they hike through the California wilderness. Read More

Epic Sierra Adventures offers teens 14 days of nonstop excitement! From whitewater rafting on the South Fork American River, to mountain biking in Tahoe National Forest, students will have a blast while making new friends and learning about the environment. Read More

Girls interested in pursuing a career in marine biology can explore their options this summer with Camp SEA Lab’s Girls Love Science Too program! Students ages 13 – 16 will spend a week on the campus of UC Santa Cruz as they participate in engaging ocean studies. Read More

Located a short drive north of San Francisco, Point Reyes National Seashore offers over 80 miles of undeveloped shores, making it the perfect destination for a backcountry adventure! Students, ages 14 – 16, will backpack through the wilderness and sleep under the stars during this six-day trek. Read More

Ship ahoy! Students will learn to sail as they travel the Central California coastline with the Voyage Seaward program! Teens will spend five days on board of a traditional 82’ schooner exploring the physical oceanography, and bay and coastal marine ecology. Read More

SEACAMP San Diego offers hands-on marine education programs to students from across the country. Combining labs and fieldwork, SEACAMP participants study invertebrates, fish adaptations, water chemistry, and oceanography.
